Rebecca is a Certified Professional Birth and Postpartum Doula via ToLabor, an IPPA-trained and State-Licensed Placenta Encapsulation Specialist, and a trained Bereavement Doula with Stillbirthday. A genuinely well-rounded Birth Worker, Rebecca also offers specialised services such as prenatal belly-casting, postpartum belly-binding, V-Steams, Accupressure, Cord Art & Keepsakes, and ceremonies such as Mother Blessings, Cord Burnings, and Rebirth Ceremonies that help women heal and overcome from previous Birth Trauma.
Rebecca says that, “My passion is to share knowledge and options about birth and postpartum with growing families. I believe that the process of birth and the sacred postpartum time deserve equal amounts of thought and preparation. There is no “one right way” to approach your birth. I offer education and non-judgmental support to families desiring home, hospital or birth center births. (For hospital births, I offer support to clients who have medicated births, natural births, VBAC, cesarean, and inductions.) I also strive to equip partners with many techniques they can use to keep the laboring mother calm, comfortable and feeling emotionally & physically supported.”
Rebecca serves women and their families in New Caste County, the Philadelphia Area, and Northern Maryland.
