Patricia Gallagher, CPM-DE (1)

Pat has been practicing as a Midwife for almost 40 years in a variety of birth settings, and for the past three decades she has been serving the Amish and Mennonite communities throughout Delaware – a tradition her practice continues to this day. Pat recently expanded her practice to serving all Christian denominations, and considers her practice to be an especially faith-based one. Nationally Certified and licensed, Pat’s decades of experience as a midwife and a teacher are the cornerstones of her Dover practice.

Community Midwifery Services is the longest-standing licensed CPM practice in Delaware, and Pat continues to be committed to serving Delaware’s Old Order and Christian communities. Pat welcomes consultations with all of the women and their families that are seeking a faith-based model of care. Pat partners with Carrie Keane, a Nurse-Midwife, and is assisted by her Student Midwife.

Pat currently serves as the Chair of the State Midwifery Advisory Council, and can be reached by phone at (302-270-2413), or by email,
